Morris Robinson, Jr, 59, Hotel Mentone

Morris Robinson, Jr, 59, was born and raised in San Francisco. Chronically homeless and a former heroin user living on the streets, he is now living in the Hotel Mentone and is receiving methadone treatment.

He attends weekly counseling and substance abuse meetings. This is a small piece of his story— how a chance encounter with a friend helped get him off the street and into SRO (Single Room Occupancy) hotel.

HOT (Homeless Outreach Team) - offers help to get homeless people connected with services that provide housing and medical treatment.
